Responsible AI

Last reviewed August 2026

At House of YUB, authenticity and transparency are part of everything we create. We occasionally use artificial intelligence to support our creative work. That means improving written content, and enhancing or adapting photographs we already have.

AI is never used to design our handbags or to replace the craftsmanship behind a collection. It helps us work more efficiently. It does not make the thing you carry.

In short: we use AI to enhance our images. We do not use it to make our bags.

Why we use it

Enhancing photography we already own extends the life of that work, rather than sending a team abroad to shoot it again. That lets us:

  • Reduce unnecessary travel where we can
  • Lower the environmental cost of producing content
  • Reuse good creative work responsibly
  • Spend more of our time on craft and on the product itself

Where it appears on this site

The film you pass through on arrival, of the gates and the house beyond them, is generated. It is a mood rather than a place you can visit, and no product appears in it.

Some written copy on this site was drafted with an AI assistant and then edited by us before publishing.

What that means for the images here

Photography across this site has, in places, been enhanced or adapted with AI. That means adjustments to images we already own rather than pictures invented from nothing. The bags in them are our bags, photographed by us.

The one piece of fully generated imagery is the entrance film described above. No product is shown in it.

Transparency matters

In line with the transparency principles of the EU AI Act, we believe you deserve to know when AI has contributed to published content. Where an image has been materially generated or altered using AI, we aim to disclose this clearly and accessibly. Where the technology supports it, that content may also carry machine readable information.

Verified with TRAXE

For an additional layer of trust, our original images are registered with TRAXE.co. Each registered asset receives a unique Verification Record documenting its provenance. Depending on the content, a record may include:

  • A unique TRAXE ID
  • Registration timestamp
  • Cryptographic file fingerprint
  • Available metadata
  • Provenance information
  • Verification history

This helps separate authentic brand content from misleading or unauthorised copies, and it holds us to the same standard we are asking of everyone else. You can look up any record at TRAXE.co.

Human creativity comes first

Every collection begins with people. From the first sketches, through choosing Italian materials, to the artisans in Tuscany who cut and stitch each piece, our handbags are the result of human work.

Technology supports what we do. It does not replace it.
